In a communiqué released on 15 June 2021, the Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) informs companies having accounting period ended in December 2020 that the deadline for the submission of their annual income tax return and payment of tax, if any, is 28 June 2021.
The MRA further clarifies that no penalty will be applied for late submission of returns for companies where there is no tax payable or where a loss has been declared, provided that these are filed by 30 July 2021.
