Andersen Webcast: Troubling Trends in Washington that Will Impact Your Philanthropy

On Wednesday, January 22, Andersen is hosting a webcast on troubling trends on Capitol Hill and in the administration. The webcast will be led by US National Tax Managing Director, Mary Duffy, and Sandra Swirski, a prominent policy expert on philanthropy and co-founder of Urban Swirski & Associates. 

Webcast discussion topics include:

  • Stripping Privacy from Donors to Donor-Advised Funds: finding a solution that does not put at risk a donor’s privacy when funding a donor-advised fund.
  • 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) new tax on highly-paid key employees in a family business if they also serve as an officer at a related family foundation.   
  • New, urgent calls for a wealth tax and what that could mean for philanthropy and foundation endowments.
